This funding programme supports technology, innovation and research projects working to develop digital solutions and quickly bring them to market. In recognition of the interdisciplinary nature of digitalisation, applications are not restricted to specific subject areas.
Within a 24-month timeframe, projects funded by the programme are expected to produce competitive and marketable digital solutions which proactively factor in legal requirements and ethical values, and/or incorporate sustainability aspects.
Fast Track Digital supports cooperative research and development projects run by several consortium partners collaborating in a joint project with clearly defined research and development goals. All organisations which contribute to achieving the project goals, provide the necessary diversity of perspectives and support the transfer of expertise and knowledge, can be either part of the consortium itself, or involved as third parties.
A key criterion for the target group-focused design of the digital solution is the use of modern innovation methods to integrate all the relevant stakeholders in the innovation process.
