The Department Project Controlling and Audit is responsible for thorough monitoring with respect to risk potentials, thus contributing to successful and transparent management processes. It supports all management levels through targeted reviews, standardised inspection modalities and cooperative feedback.
Its main tasks include the transparent and objective review of completed research projects, the effective monitoring of compliance with agreements, guidelines and rules as well as efficient review planning in order to generate synergy effects and cost savings both for the funding recipients and the FFG.
This department checks each funded project as to the proper use of funding and subsequently issues a final letter of confirmation.
